Since opening our doors in 2009, we’ve worked in partnership with a range of specialist brokers across many sectors, with transportation and specialist car funding becoming a cornerstone of the Aldermore funding proposition. We’ve developed deep expertise in financing HGV’s, trailers, super cars and collectable classics, helping our brokers to support a wide range of customer needs.
Our dedicated specialist car team was formed in 2018. Spanning sales, valuation, risk, and operations functions, we’ve seen this relatively small team go from strength to strength, with funding now totalling over a quarter of a billion of assets a year. Building on this success we’ve grown the team to include transportation to cover a wider range of wheeled assets. Our expert team will continue to support our partners` funding requirements while expanding into new markets.
Backing brokers to fund specialist cars
We’re growing our specialist car team. James Roberts, Stephen Barton and Tim Bearder along with analysts, valuers, and a team of specialist underwriters are supporting more customers than ever. We know the value that brokers bring to the highly personalised nature of the niche specialist car market, and we’ll continue to work solely with them in this sector. Despite the challenges of the last two years, the classic and specialist car market has remained buoyant. Demand for emerging classics continues alongside high value collectables and super car funding, and we’re helping a record number of customers acquire their dream vehicle or release equity in their classics to fund further acquisitions and projects.
