Is it right for me?

  • It’s quick and easy to set up an account – you can move your money in minutes.
  • Variable rate of interest.
  • Only one Regular Saver Issue 1 account can be opened, and it must be in your sole name.
  • Minimum deposit of £25.
  • Maximum deposit of £300 in total per calendar month. This can be made in one deposit or multiple during the month. 
  • You don’t need to make a deposit each month. If you miss a month, or don’t pay the maximum allowed, you can carry the unused amount over and catch up in future months. 
  • Make transfers out or withdrawals whenever you like.
  • At the end of the 12 month term, your account balance and the interest earned will be transferred to an Easy Access Account.

Things you need to know

  • You’ll need to provide us with the sort code and account number of your nominated UK bank or building society account. You must be named as an account holder on this account and must be able to transfer money to and from this account
  • All deposits into your Aldermore account must come from your nominated account. Payments to us from any other account will not be accepted and will be returned
  • You can make deposits by Faster Payments, BACS, CHAPS or Standing Order from your nominated UK bank or building society account
  • You’ll earn interest from the date on which we receive your money
  • We’ll pay the interest gross (without tax taken off)
  • The interest will be added to the balance of the account at the end of the 12 month term. Interest cannot be paid monthly
  • Under the Personal Savings Allowance, the first £1,000 of income from non-ISA savings (e.g. any interest earned) is tax free for basic rate taxpayers, and the first £500 is tax free for higher rate taxpayers. No Personal Savings Allowance applies if you’re an additional rate tax payer
  • There are no fees or charges for standard account services. We may make a charge for any exceptional non-standard services which are made available to you on a discretionary basis
  • If you change your mind about opening your account, let us know within 14 days of opening it. We’ll cancel it and you won’t need to pay any fees or penalties
  • We reserve the right to withdraw this account from sale at any time
