Financial Education

We believe that everyone has a right to feel more confident in their understanding of money. That’s why we care about improving standards of financial literacy, resilience and independence through education.   Our focus on financial wellbeing means that we are deeply invested in building financial education throughout the UK, through the products and services we provide for our customers, and the wider work we do with our partners.  We want to make more possible.

Financial empowerment with The Money Charity

Over the last two years we’ve collaborated with The Money Charity, a non-profit organisation that focuses on enhancing financial literacy and wellbeing.

We love working together with The Money Charity because their educational initiatives are perfectly aligned with our efforts to improve financial education in society.

It can be tricky to navigate the complexities of modern finance – knowing how to get the most from your savings, being aware of budgets and tacking debt challenges. That’s why, together with The Money Charity, we have funded programmes for young people and adults to help them learn more.

Financial literacy with EVERFI

We are proud partners of EVERFI from Blackbaud, an organisation that helps businesses like ours to change the world through the power of education.

Aldermore sponsors the EVERFI Aspire programme, which focuses on education young people across schools in Cardiff and Greater Manchester.

Designed for students aged 14-18, Aspire is a mobile-first financial education resource helping young people to build their financial literacy and wellbeing in areas such as budgeting, entrepreneurship and investing.

As part of the 2025 programme, Aldermore colleagues visited Neston High School in Chester to take part in a school event. The day provided students with the opportunity to ask questions and talk about careers and financial literacy. Students were able to engage with real career profiles from Aldermore Bank and understand more about what it would be like to be an employee.
